What is CLARITY II?
CLARITY II is a laser system of the latest generation that was developed primarily for permanent hair removal. The system is based on a treatment platform with double wavelength and a wide range of functions. This provides a wide range of application options.
During permanent hair removal, the hair follicles and growth cells are specifically destroyed with the CLARITY II laser. This prevents new hair from growing back. The surrounding skin remains unharmed.
Compared to older laser systems, the CLARITY II laser achieves an improved effect with short treatment times and is very gentle on the skin. An integrated cooling system ensures that the treatment is even more comfortable for you. The specially developed handpiece guarantees safe and gentle application in practically every part of the body.
The wide range of functions of the CLARITY II platform makes it possible to offer each customer a customized treatment. The range of applications extends from hair removal, wrinkle treatment and refinement of coarse-pored skin to the reduction of warts and pigmentation spots. Combined treatment is also possible with the CLARITY II laser.
What can be treated with CLARITY II?
At the prevention-center in Zurich, we prefer to use the CLARITY II laser for permanent hair removal. Each laser treatment is individually tailored to your needs. Permanent hair removal is possible, for example, on the legs, back, chest and face, in the armpits or in the bikini line.
How does permanent hair removal work?
Permanent hair removal involves several individual sessions, which we carry out at intervals of around 4 to 8 weeks. Beforehand, you will be informed about how the laser treatment works, its benefits and risks. An individual treatment plan will then be drawn up for you. The treatment itself only takes a few minutes and does not usually involve any downtime.
About 1 to 2 weeks after the first session, you will notice that your hair is already falling out. For permanent hair removal, however, the laser must reach the hair during the growth phase. This ensures that the damaged hair does not grow back later. For this reason, it is necessary to repeat the treatment several times until the maximum effect is achieved.
Each session reduces hair growth by around 10 to 30 %. Overall, you can expect hair growth to be reduced by more than 80 %.
Once removed, hair can return if the hormone status changes (e.g. after pregnancy). However, the hair growth that then reappears is then significantly less than before treatment with Clarity II.
What should be considered before and after hair removal?
Before hair removal, we ask you to shave the areas to be treated thoroughly. The best results are achieved on non-tanned skin, which is why you should avoid sun exposure to the treatment area between treatments if possible. The hair should not be plucked or waxed for at least 4 weeks.
Immediately after hair removal, there may be slight redness in the treated areas. This is completely normal and usually only lasts a few hours. Occasionally, the redness may be more severe. If this is the case for you, you should not scratch, but allow the skin to heal on its own.

Es gibt viele unterschiedliche Methoden der Haarentfernung. Neben dem Waxing in einer kosmetischen Praxis werden auch viele Produkte für die Anwendung zuhause angeboten. In unserer Clinic verfügen wir über einen professionellen Hochleistungslaser, den Clarity 2. Dieser hat einen grossen Behandlungskopf, kühlt die Haut während der Behandlung und weist ein hohes Behandlungsspektrum für die unterschiedlichen Hauttypen auf.
Eine Laserbehandlung kann etwas zeitintensiv sein, da sie meist 6 bis 8 Sitzungen erfordert. Nach dieser Zeit profitieren unsere Kunden und Kundinnen jedoch von optimalen, langfristigen Ergebnissen.
Was muss vor der Behandlung mit dem Laser beachtet werden?
Der Laser spricht am besten auf die Behandlung an, je heller die Haut ist und je dunkler die Haare sind. Deshalb empfehlen wir, sich vor der Haarentfernung mit Laser nicht zu sonnen und möglichst nicht gebräunt zur Behandlung zu erscheinen.
Ist die Behandlung schmerzhaft?
Je nach Körperzone kann die Laserbehandlung leichte Schmerzen verursachen. Durch den grossen Behandlungskopf unseres Lasers verkürzt sich die Behandlungsdauer jedoch erheblich und der Eingriff wird als wesentlich angenehmer empfunden.
Wie oft muss man die Haarentfernung wiederholen?
Wie oft die Haarentfernung wiederholt werden sollte hängt stark von dem Behandlungsareal und dem dortigen Haarwuchs ab. In der Regel können unsere Kunden mit etwa 6 – 10 Behandlungen im Abstand von 4 – 10 Wochen rechnen.
Was muss ich nach der dauerhaften Haarentfernung beachten?
Wie vor der Behandlung sollten Sie auch nach der Haarentfernung zunächst auf direkte Sonneneinstrahlung verzichten. Die Haut sollte geschützt werden, da sie vorerst noch etwas gereizt oder gerötet sein kann. An der behandelten Stelle sollten nicht zusätzlich noch Haare gezupft werden, da dies zu stärkeren Schwellungen führen kann.
Welche Risiken hat eine dauerhafte Haarentfernung?
Im Rahmen einer Laserbehandlung können bei unsachgemässer Handhabung Verbrennungen verursacht werden. In diesem Fall sollte der zuständige Arzt direkt informiert werden. Ausserdem kann es zu Pigmentverschiebungen, Rötungen oder Schwellungen kommen. Während einer Laserbehandlung ist es wichtig, die Augen zu schützen, um hier keinen Schaden davonzutragen.
Kann die Laserbehandlung auch über Tattoos angewendet werden?
Tattoos sowie Muttermale sollten im Rahmen einer Laserbehandlung ausgespart und abgeklebt werden, weil hier das Entartungsrisiko natürlich gesteigert wird und Tattoos sich in ihrer Farbe verändern können.
Wann ist man nach der Haarentfernung wieder gesellschaftsfähig?
